MASS EFFECT ANDROMEDA PC LOW VS ULTRA 1080P
My specs are: Intel Core i7-5820 MSI GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING X 8G 32 Gb RAM Windows 10 64x Im running the game at Ultra settings in 1080p and get down to 20 fps at some moments with average of 30-40. How long has this issue been happening? Always Happens Love the Mass Effect series, so bought the new game just after two weeks from buing the new PC. How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%) These low-res textures are just bad enough in the close-ups to be more jarring than the animations. Still had that Mass Effect vibe on some scale. youre playing a game with FreeSync 2 support, AMD have now confirmed to me. Conversations mostly relevant outside of crappy side quests. Ive also put together a list of all the PC games that support HDR as well. More action oriented that previous ME games but still not that bad. It may alternate between the correct high-res texture and the low-res texture, or it may stick with one or another for the remainder of the conversation. Compared to AC:O or Witcher 3 it was stellar in this regard. Within the same conversation, I may see, for example, Liam's high-res face, then the camera pans back to me, then back to Liam and he has his low-res face (I'm guessing his face during combat scenes).
Even if I pause and wait to make my dialogue selection, the low res texture stays in place. It's not a RAM issue or one where I need to wait for the texture to finish loading. Most of the time, the game loads the wrong facial texture during conversations. Plenty of system power to load those textures. 2) Even with the recently released GTX 1080 Ti, 4K is still a really tough nut to crack.
This trailer makes me sad for two reasons: 1) This game has incredible presentation when it comes to art direction and graphics, but the pathetic animations really impacts this.
